Our Reception hours might fluctuate depending on guest status, however CAH has a 24 hour check-in system in place for all booked in guests even if they arrive after the Reception is closed. Guests will be contacted prior to their arrival via call, text or email, CAH ensures a smooth check in experience to all our guests.

A credit card imprint and some form of Photo ID will be required upon check-in. We are a non-smoking property and a cleaning cost will be charged for smoking in the apartment.
Car Parking is only available from Reception at check-in.
Check-in time is 14:00; Check-out time is 10:00
Late check-in is available and will be explained to guest pre arrival, guest can also contact the Hotel if they feel like they will be out of reach on the day prior to check in.
Guest who book directly through the CAH website or from the CAH Reception via phone call or walk ins can enjoy the benefit of free cancellation 48 hours prior to check in, if guest cancels within the 48 hours, the rate of first night of stay with be taken as cancellation fee.
CAH accepts Visa, Mastercard, American express and EFTPOS. Please note that there will be additional 1.5% surcharge on all credit cards.
The Clocktower has secure undercover car parking with a height limit of 1.9m. If you wish to avail yourself of the car parking you must FIRST check-in and then you will be shown where to park. There is a nightly fee of $18.00 applies.
The Clocktower is located in the very center of all that Lygon Street has to offer, our Reception is located on Shop 27, 255 Drummond Street, please search Clocktower Apartment Hotel to see exactly where the Reception is located.
By Car with GPS: Please enter 249 Drummond Street (next to the Reception), Carlton into your prefered GPS engine.
By Car without GPS: From the Airport take the Tullamarine Freeway - you will need to buy a Citilink Toll pass - and exit at the City/Flemington Road Exit. Drive up Flemington Road and turn left into Grattan Street at The Royal Women's Hospital. Follow Grattan Street up and turn left into Drummond Street which is the first intersection over Lygon Street.
By Public Transport: Take Sky Bus to Southern Cross Station, transit to tram 96 on Bourke Street (in front the big stair case to Southern Train Station) to Swanston Street, transit to any route 1, 3/3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, 72 trams to University of Melbourne tram stop, then walk 5 minutes to reach Clocktower Apartment Hotel (Shop 27, 255 Drummond Street, Carlton)
Standard Clocktower Apartments can cater 2 people (1 bedroom) or 4 people (2 bedroom) but an extra sofa or rollaway bed can be added at $40 per night for an extra person. Please arrange extra person at booking or at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
A major chain supermarket (Woolworth Carlton) is located only 100m from the Clocktower, and The Queen Victoria Market is less than 1.5 km away.
The Clocktower is only 1.2 km from the City Centre and a 15 minute stroll to Myer and David Jones in the Bourke Street Mall. Guest can also choose to purchase a Myki card and take public trams on Swanston Street directly into the heart of Melbourne CBD.

The Clocktower is entirely smoke free.
Guest who wishes to smoke can do so on the balcony or front porch, smoking inside the room will face heavy penalty.
Each apartment at the Clocktower Apartment Hotel has its own laundry with a washing machine, dryer and clothes airer.
Each apartment kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, 4 burner cooktop, full size oven, 220 Litre refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery.
If guest have any special request please inquire the Reception beforehand, Clocktower will try its best to meet the needs of each individual guest.
The Melbourne Museum is located in the Carlton Gardens 700m away whilst the Hockey and Netball Centre and Zoo are located in Royal Park only 1.5 km away.
